A Historic Estate, A Responsible Future

Horwood House is a Grade II listed historic estate, with buildings from different periods including the original Manor House, dating from around 1911. Because of this, our approach is not about replacing everything with something new. It is about caring for what already exists, restoring it sensitively and making thoughtful improvements wherever possible.

From reusing original Gate House roof tiles and sourcing reclaimed tiles to match, to upcycling furniture and restoring garden spaces, we believe sustainability can also mean protecting heritage, craftsmanship and character.

The Green House is our way of bringing that thinking into every part of the estate.
